Little Earth was born to East Vancouver when two like-minded moms saw a need in their community for a store that catered to socially responsible parents and caregivers. The store opened its doors in July 2007.

Flavia was born in Ontario and has been living in Vancouver for the past
12 years. She met her partner here and they have three young boys,
Jones, Ennio and Brando

Mariska was born in Holland and while travelling through Central America
she met her husband, from Vancouver. Shortly afterwards she moved here
to start a new life together and now they have three young children.

With her background in retail and cafe management Flavia dreamed of
being her own boss and having her own business to grow one day. This
became a reality when she met Mariska and found that they shared the
same goals and dreams.

Mariska had been looking for a new challenge in her life after devoting 5 continuous
years to breastfeeding and three pregnancies. After only meeting a few times
the pair followed their dreams and 2 months later opened the store.

Little Earth continues to grow as does their friendship.
